Mice
and other rodents
Can be found in many areas in and around the home. Indoors, they're typically
near a food source which could be kitchen cabinets, stored food, storage
areas; inside wall voids, inside appliances, closets, firewood, attics,
garages and basements.
Once a current infestation has been removed, install physical barriers
to prevent their entry into the home. Carefully seal small holes, cracks
or openings. Check your garage door to make sure it seals properly when
closed. Remove areas that could provide nesting areas in the garage including
carboard boxes, wood piles, and other areas that remain hidden. Mice and
other rodents often enter homes through garages and then find their way
into living quarters.
Move firewood away from the home. Check carefully for any openings that
might allow entry.
